Thursday at approx. 2pm is going to be a sad day for my favorite sport. For most things that happen in sports I could care less, although I must admit I am a huge football, basketball and hockey fan, but for anyone that knows me, Baseball is my passion. As busy as I am, I still watch over 100 Yankees games each year, and could most likely tell you more about your favorite team than you could! So when a fraction of the players are called out for cheating not only in the game of baseball, but all of us fans, I hope there really truly is some punishment for all of those involved. So Boo to the CHEATERS...you suck!

Man Down......Man Down!

Ella has had her share of tumbles and falls as of late. Last Friday she took a "header" into her toys in the living room and came out with a little brushburn above her eye. The following night we where at John and Irene's house and Ella ran face first into the wall before her bath, and luckily just came out with a bump on her head.

Last night I was kneeling down in the livingroom and got jabbed in the knee by a rogue toy and fell over in front of Ella and started yelling " Man down, Man down ", which gave Ella a HUGE laugh.

So this morning I was getting dressed for work and Ella ran out of her room and down the hallway and I heard her tumble, I was just about to run out of the room and see if she was o.k when I heard " Dada, Dada...........Man down, Man down ", followed by another HUGE laugh. Our little Beaner is becoming quite the comedian!

Ella found it important to dress me up in some type of weird chef, , Shrek, traveler, summertime outfit! So I decided to pose and get our picture taken, just when Megan thought she was safe....the Bean captured her as well!

Waking up Brenna is a bit of a task, especially after she eats. Sometimes drastic times call for drastic measures, we tried everything from tickling, to zerberting feet, to cookies, and we even got out Dr. McDreamy..........but it was hopeless, nothing worked, in the end, all we could sleeping babies rest and have another late night!

Over theses past two weeks I have really been able to take a step back and appreciate the wonderful woman I am married to. Meg as been such a trooper over these months and I don't think I tell her enough how much I adore her. She is funny in times of stress and strong when things seem to falling apart...she is hot too!! She is my best friend and I love her!

3 Things I have learned about Brenna!

- Brenna is Nocturnal

-Brenna grunts and snorts and seems to always be agitated, which is funny, and had led us to name her alto-ego, Henry The Old Man.

-Brenna eats more than any baby I have ever seen, she looks small but she got my appetite for sure, the other night she had 3 bottles ranging from 2 oz to 4 oz. and breastfed, all in a 6 hour period.........and that is not the first time that has happened.

My Computer Broke!!

I should have more updates by the end of the week, when I actually have some money to get a new power supply! Not only did my computer break, but as soon as we got home from the hospital, our dryer broke! Luckily with the help of the estimable John L. Bair we managed to get a new ignitor in the dryer and it is up and running! Anyway keep your fingers crossed for me on the computer deal, I might cry if its not running by the weekend.

When Harry Met Salley

So for the first time today, Ella " Bean " and Brenna " Peanut " met. Instead of our little Bean not knowing what to do she marched right up and planted a big kiss on Brenna's head and pronounced her love.

On the way home Ella was talking nonstop about Brenna at the " Doccers " ( Ellaspeak for the Doctors ) ! Out of the blue in the car Ella said " Dada, I love Brenna! ", I respond " Really Ella, why do you love Brenna? ", Ella responds with " Dada, Brenna is my best friend " !

If that is a sign of things to come, then I think our little Batgirl just found her Robin!

Everything went great with Brenna's delivery. We are so lucky to have so many friends and family close by that everyone is able to share in the joy of our newest addition to the family. I promise to post more pictures and give everyone a call as soon as we are all home on Friday. Things are a bit hectic, but hopefully we will all be home friday.

Megan was great, and stormed into battle once again, taking one for team Keller. My thanks to her, because everyone who knows me, knows I would not have the guts to have a kid, I can barely get my blood taken. I have to admit I was really nervous this time, we both didn't get a wink of sleep the night before. Thank god I have to gift of calm once the storm comes, because I was NERVOUS this time, really nervous to the point I actually felt sick. Anyway Brenna is already awesome and we are really looking forward to spending a few weeks at home together!

Happy Halloween

Well, we had a wonderful Halloween in the Keller house this evening. Ella was dressed as a fairy princess. Her outfit required a bit of coaxing and we where unable to wear the princess wings and tiara, and we took a bit to figure out exactly how this trick or treating thing went. But we did manage to go trick or treating at a few of our neighbors homes, 3 to be exact, and of course to Ella's Grandparents house.
I think Ella was more entertained by watching the trick or treaters coming to our house, but I have a funny feeling next year is going to be a different story! Here are some pictures from this evening.

Boo-Hoo

As anyone who knows me has guessed I was pretty disappointed about the early exit of the New York Yankees in the playoffs, but my disappointment recently turned to disgust when A-Rod opted out of his contract with the New York Yankees.
I of course hate the Red Sox, but what kind of A-hole do you have to be to announce your opting out of the biggest baseball contract ever signed on the night when the Boston Red Sox could possibly win the World Series. Making the night about you is about the poorest example of sportsmanship I have seen in recent years.
Well A-Rod, just when I thought you couldn't out tool yourself, you have once again proven me wrong! Thank you for leaving, I no longer have to spend time defending you.....and all along I thought the A was for A-Rod.....apparently it was for A-Hole! Good Riddance !

The Mule

As I sit here at 1 am kicking back listening to some tunes, the music reminds me of old times and old friend's. The older I become the more I realize how rare it is that you meet friend's that you can truly relate too, and become close with . Most of the time I barely have time to talk to Megan, much less mingle and try to make new friends, so I consider myself lucky too long ago have found such a friend, and although for the better part of the last decade we have been separated by a few states, we remain in close contact and visit as often as we can.

So as I sit here drinking a Blue Moon and listening to some old school Pearl Jam, I raise my bottle to you Mr. Mulee, I am reminded of the endless fun we have already had, and to the many more good times I hope we encounter!

Operation Urination Update!!

Things are coming along....slowly, but hell I work 70 hours a week, so to me there are moving along at the speed of light! Here is what Brenna's room is looking like, just got a fresh coat of primer, just have to paint, and then redo the trim, and she will be ready to go!

Headmasher!!

Ella developed a game that we affectionately call "headmasher". The game is really simple, it usually starts out while giving Ella a hug or showing her some type of affection, and the next thing you know she starts rashing her head up against your Noggin while screaming the words "HEADMASHER" . Ella, Sarah, and I where trying to get our pictures taking and the next thing you knew.....we had a headmasher fest!

Al Gore Salesman of the CENTURY!

I have many things that I would like to say about Al Gore and his mission to let everyone know about global climate change. What I think is so great about Al Gore is he is the kind of person that bullshit's you to your face, and people still like him anyway. Al is so slick that in the face of making millions of dollars holding presentations on global climate change, he donates his Nobel Prize winnings,and people think of him as a better man for it!!!

As someone who has worked in retail most of my life, I would like to nominate Al Gore as Salesman of the Century, for his work on Global Climate Change! I don't know quite how he's done it, but in a time when the local weatherman cannot tell me whether or not it is going to rain the following day, Al has definitively convinced millions of people that he is sure humans have had such a specific impact on so many environmental factors! I raise my empty glass to you Al, you sure are a dandy!
